 Devices with Ralink RT2770F Chipset that use the RT2800 driver can successfully be used with the aircrack-ng suite combined with compat-wireless.  This [[http://forum.aircrack-ng.org/index.php?topic=5755.0|forum posting]] provides an excellent description of how to install the compat-wireless software.  This provides the rt2800usb driver.
 This driver may successfully be used with other devices that require rt2x00 drivers.  Please post success/failures to the forum.
+There has been some users with rt3070 based chipset. As of writing, these are not supported with the 3rd party driver and may gain support in a few months time or in the near future. The same goes with the rt2070 based chipset which is possibly responsible for replacing the aging rt2573 based chipset.
